Even the hook's location is obvious since the guy's thumb is using it as a support to show the item. You can't see the hook because the guy is covering it but the pic should show you what I mean. Other capabilities that have appeal include the ability to annotate, add watermarks, rearrange objects, change colors and recognize and replace text. Arrows, numbering and text inserts to highlight important parts of your image are good examples. In terms of editing, key features include those that let you enhance your screen capture to quickly tell a visual story to your intended audience. Usually, you can use a hotkey to perform this action, too, saving yourself from having to launch the program first. This same feature lets you only grab what you want from the screen so that you don’t have to crop it later. #ICE CREAM SCREEN RECORDER VS ICECREAM SCREEN RECORDER PRO SOFTWARE#Good screen capture software can get everything, usually using a click-and-drag approach. A typical print screen only captures what’s on your screen, missing those parts that require scrolling. A perfect example is the ability to image an entire web page or chat log. When we were reviewing contenders for this list, we looked for features that justified purchasing screen capture software over a free option or simply using “print screen” and free image editing software like GIMP.įeatures we targeted include those that enhance the initial capture process. What Makes a Screen Capture Software the Best? Before we name our picks, though, let’s talk about what makes the best screen capture programs tick. We settled on Snagit for the number one spot, but each of the five selections below merits consideration. In return, you get more flexible capture capabilities and advanced editing features to alter your images.ĭuring this roundup, we set out to find the top options for power users. The best screen capture software isn’t free, but most options are reasonably priced and come with a lifetime license. While computers have a built-in screenshot function, dedicated screen capture software advances that capability considerably. Whether for a presentation, writing a cloud storage review or saving someone’s daft social media post for posterity, the ability to image your screen comes in handy. #ICE CREAM SCREEN RECORDER VS ICECREAM SCREEN RECORDER PRO HOW TO#
![]() ![]() It also doesn’t help that the rules were unclear about some parts of this module, like when you can place an extra depot during your turn. One of the hardest parts about teaching that variation is that the cards on the warehouses don’t belong to anyone, and anyone can pick them up by claiming a route to another player’s depot. The warehouses and depots are an interesting expansion, but it is not one that I will use all the time. I usually end up using some hybrid between expanded and mega to distribute tickets. Honestly, these are very minor issues because having more tickets is already such a great thing. It’s not an issue in the “big cities” variant because you don’t use the long routes. My problem with this variation is that some of the “big cities” tickets are longer than the long routes. The only rule here is that you must keep at least three tickets and at most one long route. In the mega variation, you shuffle the “big cities” tickets with the other ones and give each player two long tickets and five other tickets. I find this distribution of tickets okay. Expanded gives players the same one long ticket and three regular tickets as the “big cities” variant, but it includes the new tickets. The other two ways to give the starting tickets are called expanded and mega. It’s a good choice for a cutthroat game, but the train stations from the base game decrease the pressure to reach as many big cities as possible. One of them is the “big cities” variant, and that one is fun to play and competitive. The rulebook explains three ways to distribute starting tickets. Furthermore, the tickets have symbols to indicate whether they are in the base game or not and whether or not you need to use them for the “big cities” variant. This way, you can’t tell them apart from wear and tear. #TICKET TO RIDE 1912 FULL#I like that the expansion included a full set of the old tickets from the base game and some new ones. Let’s start with the new destination tickets. All the players with the most remaining depots will get 10 points. #TICKET TO RIDE 1912 FREE#You can also place a depot on an empty city as a free action during your turn. You can take cards from warehouses that don’t match your color.ĭepots also block players from placing train stations in cities they are in. However, when any player claims a route connected to a depot, they may discard one of their remaining depots to take all the cards from the warehouse whose color matches the color of the depot they connected to. As you draw more cards, your color warehouse will have more cards on it too. Before the first turn, each player will place one of their depots on any unoccupied city.ĭuring the game, whenever players draw train cards, they also take one card from the top of the stack and add it to their warehouse. Each player will take five depots in their reserve and will have one warehouse of their color. The “warehouses and depots” module adds some unique strategy to the game. There are also big cities and long and short tickets. This expansion has warehouses and depots for all five colors that come in the base game. There are no end game bonuses in this variant, so players have to maneuver their way into a few crowded cities to win. All of the destination tickets will connect at least one, but usually two of the big cities. In the “big cities” variant, some of the cities on the board are big cities, and the game comes with a card to identify them. The rulebook includes three ways to give players starting tickets, but only the big cities add new rules to the game. There are also six new long destination tickets and a separate stack of tickets for the “big cities” variant. ![]() The Ticket to Ride Europe expansion provides a new set of tickets that includes all of the ones from the base game and some new ones. I’ll show you how they work and then share my thoughts about whether you need to get this expansion. This expansion also consists of “big cities” and “warehouses and depots” modules compatible with any Ticket to Ride map. Ticket to Ride Europe 1912 is a similar expansion to Ticket to Ride USA 1910 in that it includes new destination tickets for the game. If you aren’t familiar with the rules of any Ticket to Ride game, you should read my review on Ticket to Ride Europe first. This week, we are going to look at a small expansion to an excellent game, Ticket to Ride Europe. ![]() The Ticket to Ride Europe 1912 expansion includes new destination tickets and a “warehouse and depots” module that changes the game. ![]() ![]() If you can please help with a comment or link to a way to do this please. The more sibilant quality in Klipsch and Tannoy are less noticeable in rock passages at high volumes and they're fun - but that quality takes them out of serious contention when listening to Eva Cassidy or Loreena McKennett. That said the human voice is vastly better on an AN speaker than a Tannoy or Klipsch if your hearing is any good. Big Horn - bigger sound bigger dynamic drive. I have ALWAYS said that though so it's never been me being a fanboy and saying anything else. If one is mainly a rock and roll listener or Metallica-head then a big K-Horn or Westminster is going to play with more dynamic ease at rock concert levels. ![]() With speaker comparisons it depends on what volume level and what you're listening to. So he ran SS with the lower sensitive AN E models. Again they do some things better but so does the AN J and all those others cost a lot lot more.Ī high efficiency horn speaker does have much higher sensitivity and as Constantine Soo - my editor noted when he directly compared the KHorn with the AN E that the KHorn had a greater sense of dynamic ease so the AN E is going to need to be played louder and pushed harder (which with low watt amps can't be done). I have heard the top of the line Altecs VOTT, Klipsch Khorns, Tannoy Westminsters, Kensington, Canterburry. You could also look at established power amps or integrated amps (that can be used as power amps).Ĭlick to expand.I had the AN J for 13 years and I attended audio shows, dealers and would come back to the fact that while some speakers did some things better - so did the AN J and usually more things better and for 1/5th the price. Or the Cobra from Audio Note at near 30 watts It offers in the 40 watt range if I remember so you are getting a more powerful amplifier that is the closest thing to an Audio Note amplifier than probably exists. You could also look at the Rogers amplifier - it was designed or co-designed by Audio Note for Rogers. if there was a power amp version of it (I don't know) that would probably resemble an OTO more than most. My Sugden A48B was an integrated amplifier that sounded quite valve like - more-so than the A21a. I could be wrong as I am not a designer but it would seem to me that the best SS power amps for an Audio Note preamp would be"īe regarded as a valve sounding amplifier (Sugden/First Watt) ![]() But SS with their high negative feedback high damping factors can bully Audio Note speakers - but since you are not using AN speakers then it would seem to me that finding out what Tannoy speaker owners use a lot for their speakers combined with whether that amp would work well with an AN preamp are the key factors. The preamp has more influence on resulting sound in my view. So partnering an AN preamp to a non AN power amp might require some dealers here to help you out if they carry other brands and have tried combinations. So the Preamp has all of the magic.Īudio Note is about parts quality and synergy and they're not big fans or fans at all of SS equipment.
